“Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus.” -Alexander Graham Bell

Soothing, the tide rolls in,

Filling the shallows of the heart.

Cleansing wounds and solemn paint;

Providing only a temporary barrier to endearment depart.

Enshrouding, the fog may come

Concealing the truth behind unconsoled fate.

Skies clearing of the feelings assuaged,

Revealing again, a life desecrate.

Nighttime, the blinds roll down,

Cooling the burns of scolding love.

Extinguishing the hurt of fervent nature;

Until all arises at dawn whereof.
