Willow Tree:

“Style is a reflection of your attitude and your personality.” – Shawn Ashmore

The willow tree,

Countless carvings etched into its

seemingly thick skin,

Etched feelings of the past.

Its boughs now heave with secrets

Never to be told.

Confined in it as a resolution last.

Leaves depressed, toiling under the

weight of despondency,

Finding comfort in the water down below.

Left frostbitten at the bitterness of humanity,

Having now a beguiling heart of snow.

The willow tree.
