Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened. – Dr. Seuss

In life there are walls,

Sometimes they are tall,

They obscure the garden beyond our view.
We climb the walls,

Slowly at first,

We slip and fall,

Slowly growing in confidence,

The garden set in our minds.

At the final hurdle,

We fall

And that breaks us.
However, we may grasp on,

And reach the top of the wall,

And we look down,

Seeing ‘what a journey’ we undertook.
And so we see the garden,

And we reach it,

The garden is a beautiful place,

With potential and  fulfilment.
